Imeka is a technology platform company that has brain imaging based translational biomarkers for: neuroinflammation, demyelination, and axonal loss. These biomarkers are useful for pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies that develop treatments for neurodegenerative diseases such as: Alzheimer’s, Parkisons, and Multiple Sclerosis disease. Imeka is currently the only company in the world combining diffusion MRI and AI to map white matter integrity in the brain.
Reporting to our Head of Sales and Marketing, the mission of the Account Sales Manager is to identify and engage with potential customers to illustrate the need to use Imeka’s disruptive, fast evolving, technology and generate new business opportunities.
This position is a combination of sales, business development and relationship management.
In this role, you will be responsible to:
Develop the appropriate strategy for discovering new business opportunities
Identify and reach out to potential clients and KOL’s, creating and building strong relationships
Establish productive, professional relationships with key decision-making personnel in the assigned prospect organizations
Presents solutions and professional service options to clients by identifying best-fit opportunities for Imeka offerings
Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates client’s needs on an ongoing basis
Work collaboratively with the Imeka team to engage subject matter expertise in the pre-sales and post-close project delivery
Develop proposal and price quotation that best address the client’s needs
Work as a member of the larger Imeka team, including Marketing, Proposals & Contracts, Technical, Quality, and Project Management
Represent the firm at scientific meetings and other professional associations on behalf of the firm (virtual events during the pandemic)
Identify customer objections/hurdles and and find solutions
Update and maintain the sales CRM
Meet and exceed sales targets set by the company
Bachelor’s degree required (preferable in Life Science)
5 years of sales experience in the life sciences field, such as biopharmaceutical, imaging or a CRO
Excellent presentation skills and ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in closing sales
Ability to take direction and act in the best interest of the Sales Team and Imeka
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills in English given that all clients are located in the US.

Location: Remotely in Montreal/South Shore or at the office in Sherbrooke or both.
Travelling: Available to come to Sherbrooke office twice a month. May need to travel to Boston office and abroad as necessary (once safe to do so) – approximately 25% of the time.
